  Having read the reviews, I agree with previous recent posters about the terrible attitude of the employees. I visited recently and was verbally accosted with negative attitude as we walked in the door. The two employees were rude and condescending. We decided to shop elsewhere and ended up down the street at a much more civil place. They must get a lot of tourists in that are frustrating to deal with, but they should not assume everyone is the same without taking the time to get to know someone first. They need to have a better attitude if they are going to survive as a business. I don't visit Galena often, but when I do, I'll be sure to support the other friendlier shops in town. From the owners defensive responses, customer's don't seem to matter enough to post some signs about his preferences regarding the art, photography etc. A simple sign might help them with customer relations. It is a town that is now essentially just a tourist trap ( with a historical theme), so signage would not be out of place.

  Awful. People knew nothing about coffee and were rude. Wouldn't go again. Owner has his head so far up his own ass it's a surprise he can smell the coffee.
  
  He also assumes he knows who I am despite me not living in the area and he just posted a mean response.
  
  If you notice, all the other good reviews he doesn't respond to. Why? Because he pays them to review.
  
  See everyone? Head up his own ass. It's people like him who give coffee a bad name. Avoid this place the the plague.

  I've been here quite a few times over the last couple of years. (I have family in the area.) I always end up at this place because my brother likes the coffee, but we both agree that the owner is honestly just the rudest guy ever. I've never once had a good experience here. In fact he literally got upset with me once because I didn't buy anything after my brother had, and another time he got defensive about his artwork while I was LOOKING at it. Started to yell at me and say I can't take pictures, called me rude for not asking, etc. All because I had my phone in my hand while looking at them? I literally had no intentions of taking pictures whatsoever. I don't know. I just honestly hate coming into this place, and my brother doesn't even want to buy the coffee anymore. Not worth it.
